It is Located between Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios. Across the lagoon are Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort and behind it are the Walt Disney World Dolphin and the Walt Disney World Swan. Located along the actual boardwalk are a number of shops such as the Screen Door General Store and Thimbles & Threads and restaurants including the Flying Fish Café, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, Spoodles, BoardWalk Bakery, and ESPN Club.

You can the park in the car park and take a walk through to the Boardwalk. It is nice to take a walk around Crescent Lake. Many of the Guests at the Boardwalk Inn and Villas can easily walk to EPCOT or MGM Studios or they can take a friendship boat launch to them both. It is modelled on a turn of the century seaside towns of the Mid-Atlantic and New England.

There is no admission fee to Disney's Boardwalk, but some venues may have cover charges. Self-parking is free for Disney guests. Entertainment available at the Boardwalk ranges from nightclubs to free live outdoor entertainment.

There's Jellyrolls, with its sing-alongs and dueling piano players. Or if dancing is more your thing, then visit Atlantic Dance, featuring live bands on certain nights.

On any given night, strolling along the BoardWalk from 6:30-10:30 p.m. you may see a sword swallower, jugglers, a tarot card reader, a New Orleans style jazz trio... you just never know.

All in all Disney's Boardwalk is a pleasent place to spend a couple or hours watching the world go by.
