Tony Roma’s is one of our favourite places. There is only one now in and around the tourist areas and that is on I drive. They have the best Ribs in town and on Mondays they do the endless racks that cost $4 more than usual but you can keep ordering them till you explode!

They serve up warm, freshly baked bread to either eat with your meal or to nibble on whilst you wait. The ice cold draught beers are so welcoming especially in the warm night air. We choose to sit outside if the weather permits.

You have to try the Baked Potato Soup as a starter it is great! It comes with all the dressings that a loaded baked potato does such as, grated cheese, bacon bits, chives and has real chunks of baked potato in it.

Needless to say the ribs take some beating there are several varieties not just the famous baby backs. You can have other ribs basted in your choice of sauce such as Carolina Honeys, Blue ridge Smokies and Tony Romas Red Hots. You could have a sampler which gives you a mixture of them.

Another favourite is the Onion Loaf that comes with Tony Romas BBQ dipping sauce. Excellent!
